The Taurasi Riserva “Radici” is one of the most famous bottles of this important and large winery in Irpinia. The Mastroberardino family has been dedicated to viticulture since the end of the nineteenth century and today manages a total of over 250 hectares of vineyards in the Avellino area. Always faithful to the history and traditions of the territory, he had the great merit of believing in unsuspecting times in the potential of the native Aglianico, Fiano, Falanghina and Greco vines, with great consistency and tenacity. She was among the most important figures in the rebirth of Southern Italian wine thanks to a constant commitment to a continuous search for quality. The “Radici” Taurasi Riserva by Mastrobernardino is a reference label for anyone who wishes to know the potential for evolution of Aglianico. Born from the desire to create a great red capable of defying time, it is today a wine that has earned the appreciation of the most demanding enthusiasts. At the end of the classic red vinification with maceration on the skins, the wine matures for 30 months in barriques and large oak barrels. It has a ruby red color with garnet shades. On the nose it expresses intense aromas of small berries, cherry, nuances of dried flowers, oriental spices and noble woods. The sip is deep, long, with lively tannins and a good complexity in the center of the mouth. The finish is fresh and tasty, with a return to spicy sensations.
