The Primitivo Moio 57 of the Moio Cellars owes its name to the extraordinary harvest of 1957, which was obtained in Mondragone. The vinification is traditional with long maceration. The wine is then subjected to a period of refinement in traditional Slavonian oak barrels. In the center of the town, around one of the few rural courtyards still intact in Mondragone, the Moio cellars are gathered. From the splendid countryside surrounding Mondragone, even in this century, grapes of extreme quality have been produced, worthy heirs of the tradition and history of an ancient land with such a noble past.
