In bocca dimostra consistenza ed intensità, tannini presenti ma non aggressivi, equilibrato.

Salvatore Molettieri è il Gigante dell’Aglianico montemaranese. Un aglianico, il suo, che vanta una robustezza oggi sconosciuta ai maggiori vini irpini, ma che consente ai suoi Taurasi di godere di una vita lunghissima e di mostrare, anche dopo molti anni, un carattere che pochi vini possiedono.
Caldo, grosso, opulento, ma anche estremamente fresco e sapido, con la fitta trama tannica. La degustazione lascia in bocca un lungo ricordo di frutta matura e torrefazione.
