Il vino rosso Taurasi “Piano di Montevergine” è una Riserva che presenta l’Aglianico alla massima potenza espressiva. Si tratta infatti di una bottiglia intensa e profonda, che, grazie all’ottimo periodo di maturazione, si manifesta con un sorso preciso e puntuale, che avvolge il palato con calore e persistenza. La cantina Feudi di San Gregorio si conferma, ancora una volta, portatrice delle grandi tradizioni vitivinicole campane, regalandoci un prodotto territoriale e identitario, che si colloca ai vertici qualitativi dell’intera denominazione.
Il “Piano di Montevergine” di Feudi di San Gregorio è un Taurasi Riserva che prende vita dall’utilizzo in purezza di una varietà a bacca rossa che trova nel terroir campano uno degli habitat più vocati, l’Aglianico. Le uve, accuratamente selezionate durante la fase della vendemmia, una volta giunte in cantina, fermentano alcoolicamente, macerando in serbatoi d’acciaio per un periodo di 3-4 settimane. Si prosegue poi con la fase di affinamento, che avviene prima per 18-24 mesi in barrique di rovere francese e botti dalla capacità di 50 ettolitri, e poi, dopo l’imbottigliamento, per altri 24 mesi direttamente in vetro.
La Riserva Taurasi “Piano di Montevergine” si manifesta nel calice con un colore rosso rubino, decisamente carico e intenso. Al naso si avvertono aromi concentrati e ricchi, che spaziano dai sapori speziati alla frutta matura, arrivando sino a toccare sfumature di erbe balsamiche. All’assaggio è di ottimo corpo, deciso nel presentare un sorso caldo e avvolgente, caratterizzato da una vena sapida; termina con un finale persistente. Un rosso che è uno dei cavalli di battaglia dell’intera gamma di etichette realizzate dalla cantina Feudi di San Gregorio, come dimostrano gli ottimi punteggi ottenuti sia in campo nazionale che estero.
