Luigi Tecce's Taurasi Riserva DOCG "Puro Sangue" comes from vines that are approximately 15 years old; it is aged for 12 months in old tonneaux and then for another 12 months in 50hl barrels, and then rests for a further two years in the bottle before being released for sale.
From the first taste it does nothing but confirm the great merits of Luigi Tecce: it is an ancestral wine, full of character and impossible to compare.

Puro Sangue 2013 è una delle due riserve di Luigi, in particolare questo vino proviene da un singolo vigneto ricco di argilla ed offre un'espressione più ampia e generosa del carattere vulcanico del luogo, con una nota fumosa e pienamente minerale.
Il 2013 si fa conoscere attraverso una concentrazione assoluta del frutto che mantiene comunque un carattere fragrante e salato unico. Aglianico lungo, di grande avvolgenza capace di sfidare il tempo in cantina come pochi.
