Luigi Tecce's Taurasi Riserva DOCG "Puro Sangue" comes from vines that are approximately 15 years old; it is aged for 12 months in old tonneaux and then for another 12 months in 50hl barrels, and then rests for a further two years in the bottle before being released for sale.
From the first taste it does nothing but confirm the great merits of Luigi Tecce: it is an ancestral wine, full of character and impossible to compare.

“PuroSangue” Luigi Tecce
Puro Sangue è uno dei vini più rappresentativi dell' azienda di Luigi Tecce, un maestro indiscusso della viticoltura campana, un uomo innamorato della propria terra e delle proprie vigne. Le sue qualità umane e il suo tocco magico in vigna si ritrovano in tutti i suoi vini e, in particolare, in questo Taurasi.
Fermentazione spontanea con lunga macerazione in botte di legno, affinamento di 12 mesi in tonneaux vecchie, 12 mesi in botti da 50hl e ulteriori 24 mesi in bottiglia. Rosso rubino molto intenso, al naso esprime note balsamiche che dalla menta aprono a sentori molto decisi di ciliegia e di ribes.
Toni speziati di tabacco e di vaniglia introducono a un assaggio caldo e avvolgente, secco, caratterizzato da una gran tessitura tannica e da un finale stupefacente per persistenza.
