One of the most widespread native grape varieties in the province of Avellino is Coda di Volpe, from whose grapes vinified alone we obtain this Irpinia Coda di Volpe DOC – Vadiaperti – Traerte.
Aged exclusively in stainless steel, it is balanced and enveloping, fresh yet smooth. Direct and candid, it is generous and unrestrained, both on the nose and on the palate.

Il Coda di Volpe Irpinia DOC rappresenta una vera eccellenza locale, che consente di conoscere e apprezzare quest’antica varietà campana, troppo spesso messa in ombra dai più noti Fiano e Greco. Già dal primo sorso si riescono a cogliere molto presto tutte le più sottili ed eleganti vibrazioni del carattere sapido – minerale tipico di questo vitigno.
Si apprezza un colore giallo paglierino, al naso arriva con tipici sentori minerali, accompagnati da sensazioni agrumate, e aromatiche di salvia e timo .
Al sorso è sicuramente, sapido, fresco e persistente. Un vino dal perfetto equilibrio tra acidità e alcolicità, che con il tempo può solo che migliorare. Si consiglia l’abbinamento a piatti a base di pesce, molluschi, crostacei, perfetto anche con tartare. Ottimo anche con piatti vegetariani.
