I vini piemontesi sono grandi protagonisti dell’eccellenza enologica italiana. Conosciuta soprattutto per i suoi magnifici rossi, questa regione ha dimostrato nel corso dei secoli una straordinaria vocazione vitivinicola, oggi testimoniata da oltre 50.000 ettari di vigneto, più di 30.000 cantine, quasi una ventina di Docg e tantissime Doc.

Lo stretto connubio tra territorio e vitigni autoctoni ha portato alla valorizzazione delle tradizioni e delle peculiarità delle migliori aree della regione. Tra queste spiccano per prestigio le Langhe, rinomate in tutto il mondo per Barolo e Barbaresco, ma anche Monferrato, Roero, Colline Tortonesi, Canavese, Colline di Biella, Vercelli e Novara.

I tipici rossi a base di Nebbiolo, Barbera e Dolcetto sono vere e proprie star internazionali, ma questa regione è anche una terra di uve bianche come Arneis, Erbaluce, Cortese, Timorasso e, soprattutto, Moscato. Questi sono solo alcuni esempi della straordinaria ricchezza del panorama enologico regionale, tanto vasto quanto eccezionale.
