Description
Champagne "Riviera"
Riviera by Piper-Heidsieck is a Champagne to be served over ice, poolside, which is inspired by the parties and social life of Cannes and Saint Tropez, locations located on the French Riviera.
It is produced from a blend in which the protagonist is Pinot Noir, present for more than 50%, accompanied by the other typical varieties of Champagne, namely Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. Rest on the yeasts for at least 2 years. It is dosed demi-sec.
The nose opens onto a generous entry of fruit, made of notes of pear and yellow peach, which preludes a bouquet of notes of honeysuckle and star anise, then caramel and crème brulée. On the palate it is elegant, tense and fresh. It closes on a sweet finish of vanilla and orange blossom.
