It is thanks to the particular pedoclimatic conditions that Irpinia has established itself as one of the great Italian wine territories. A place of incredible charm, capable of offering some of the best whites on the Peninsula and rich and elegant reds. This is where Laglianico has found a home and where it is able to express itself best. A wine, this DOC, which is vinified in steel and left to mature in third and fourth passage barriques for 10 months, followed by a few further months of refinement in the bottle.

Aglianico Irpinia DOC that embodies the specific characteristics of an incredible volcanic territory, located on the slopes of Vesuvius, and the characteristics of a grape variety that has distinguished itself among the panorama of native red grape varieties of Campania.

The grapes are hand-picked between late October and early November, allowing the grapes to develop a richer sugar concentration and aromatic complexity. Vinification involves maceration on the skins in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in wooden barrels for 10 months and another 6 months in the bottle.

Vino dal manto rosso rubino intenso. Al naso offre un bouquet ampio e articolato, con nette percezioni di amarena e mora selvatica, più vivaci sentori di viola ed eleganti spezie. Il sorso è morbido e fine, con note che richiamano i frutti di bosco e la fragola in confettura.

Avvolgente, caldo, corposo, con lunga e persistente chiusura.

PERFUME

Sentori di piccoli frutti rossi (fragola e lampone), toni speziati e chiusura su note tostate di caffè e cacao.
