Rappresentanti di una vitivinicoltura di montagna e di uno stile produttivo comune che punta su freschezza ed eleganza, i vini dell’Alto Adige sono conosciuti nel mondo per il loro impeccabile equilibrio e per il carattere nitido e cristallino.
Il territorio, in prevalenza alpino, offre condizioni favorevoli ad una viticoltura di qualità che i produttori hanno saputo sfruttare con competenza e sensibilità: terreni calcarei e rocciosi, forti escursioni termiche e clima fresco, condizionato dalla presenza protettiva delle montagne.
La maggior parte dei vigneti è riservata alla coltivazione di uve bianche, da cui nascono ottime espressioni di Gewurztraminer, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay e Sauvignon, ma anche grandi interpretazioni di vitigni come Riesling, Sylvaner, Kerner e Veltliner. I rossi più tipici e tradizionali sono caratterizzati da buona freschezza, da leggerissimi tannini e da grande nitore stilistico.
Tra questi spiccano lo Schiava e il Lagrein ma anche il Pinot Nero e altri, tutti nati da un territorio unico che imprime caratteristiche irripetibili alle sue espressioni.

The Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Rosé 20/26 Elena Walch is a wine resulting from an unusual blend of lagrein, merlot and pinot noir from only estate-owned vineyards. The three vines are pressed and vinified together from the beginning, according to the classic saignée method, the must remains briefly in contact with the skins until it reaches a delicate rosé color. What follows is a brief maturation in steel tanks only that leads to a fresh and balanced rosé, perfect as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to light dishes, even vegetarian.
