The “Gelsonero” by Villa Dora is a medium-bodied red wine capable of conquering first on the nose and then on the mouth, soft and fragrant, fruity and spicy, with character and a valuable personality.

An ancient name, which is lost in legend. A wine already famous in Roman times which has remained in the traditions of the area thanks to the careful work of the monks who, starting from the Middle Ages, continued to produce it for centuries by dripping the tears from the grapes of the Vesuvian vineyards. A presence, that of the volcano, which has had and continues to have a decisive influence on the mineral richness of the area and consequently on the fruits that are grown there. A wine whose vinification takes place in steel and which is left to refine in the bottle for a few months before being marketed.
