Vinness HO.RE.CA Distribution
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Catalogue of the Selection Ho.Re.Ca It is aimed exclusively at operators in the sector, i.e. restaurants, wine bars, bars, hotels, caterers, etc.
We believe in building relationships with them, and that operators and sommeliers are the best people to share our passion for quality wine with consumers.
The shipment of the wine ordered to your premises or cellar is always free, for any number of bottles. A minimum order is required for free shipping.
No. Pickup is not possible, as our warehouses only handle loading and unloading operations with the couriers responsible for delivery.
Delivery normally takes approximately three days working days from the moment of receipt of the order and the payment receipt.
For goods with limited availability or that haven't yet arrived in stock, delivery times may be longer: our agents and sales representatives will always be able to provide you with an estimate.
THE Friendly Locals They're not "privileged customers"; there's nothing to pay or anything special to be included in this section. Friendly Locales are simply people (even before being locals) who first or most firmly believed in our philosophy.
You too might fall into this category: let's organize a meeting and a toast together, and get to know each other better!
No, we don't sell to private individuals. However, you can always contact your favorite restaurant or wine shop and provide them with our website and/or email address.
Of course, we always appreciate word of mouth and social sharing.
Hand, we do not send free bottles to "influencer" or "wine blogger". To taste or review our wines, you can go through the normal purchasing channels.
INFORMATION ON WINE IN BARRELS
For restaurants, wine bars, and wine shops offering wine on tap, we offer 25-30 liter steel kegs or Key Kegs.
Quality is very important to us, and we believe it's important for our customers to be able to serve a bulk product that retains all the distinctive characteristics of bottled wines.
The kegs we use maintain the organoleptic properties of the wine unaltered, and Key Keg technology offers additional advantages: they are single-use, completely recyclable, lightweight, and highly durable.
INFORMATION ABOUT BAG-IN-BOX
A Bag-in-Box is a cardboard container with a plastic bag inside, complete with a tap. Inside the bag, the wine remains vacuum-packed, from the first glass to the last. Because the wine never comes into contact with air, it preserves for a long time inside a Bag-in-Box. This is why this type of container preserves wine better than demijohns, barrels, and so on.
The wine in the Bag in Box does not come into contact with air, which is why it can last approximately three months after opening.
As for unopened Bag-in-Boxes, the wine can be stored for up to 12 months, depending on the type of wine.
Absolutely. Compared to most cheap wines sold in large retailers, at the same price, bag-in-box wines are almost always of superior quality and maintain this quality over time.
Bag-in-box wine isn't cheaper because it's of lower quality, but simply because the price of the container is lower and has a significantly lower impact on the price of the finished product. Furthermore, transportation is also cheaper and easier.
In the bag-in-boxes you can find a wide variety of white, rosé, and red wines, some even from very prestigious wineries, but always still, non-sparkling wines.
Bag-in-box packaging isn't designed to withstand the pressure of sparkling wines. That's why there's no such thing as sparkling wine, Prosecco, or spumante in a bag-in-box.
INFORMATION ON BULK WINE
Using a tight-fitting cork, a cool, dry place, and darkness will allow wine to be stored in a demijohn for at least six months. Don't store it near the vinegar container, as the vinegar bacteria in the air will spoil the good wine.
Generally speaking, a medium-bodied red wine in an unopened bottle should be consumed within three or four years, but if it is a red wine intended for aging, it will need more time to refine its qualities and can be tasted even 15 years after the harvest.
Using a tight-fitting cork, a cool, dry place, and darkness will allow wine to be stored in a demijohn for at least six months. Don't store it near the vinegar container, as the vinegar bacteria in the air will spoil the good wine.
The first racking takes place approximately two or three weeks after racking, so as to separate the wine from the coarser lees.
IMPORTANT: Above all, remember to decant the wine from the demijohn as soon as possible and in any case within 20 days of purchase: the demijohn does not guarantee a good level of wine conservation.
BOTTLING AND STORAGE TIPS
- Use clean, dry demijohns and bottles.
- Bottle the wine within 3 days of purchase.
- When filling the bottle, it is recommended to leave an empty space of 8/10cm between the wine and the cork.
- We recommend consuming the wine at least 2-3 months after bottling to allow the natural sedimentation process at the bottom of the bottle, which guarantees its authenticity.
- For "dry sparkling" wines, use bottles capable of withstanding the pressure typical of sparkling wines.
- For wines of the "semi-dry, semi-sparkling, sweet" typologies, use only HEAVY bottles, suitable for containing sparkling wines (bottle weight: 800/900g).
- If possible, store the wine in a cool, dark place.
- For still wines, bottles should be filled up to 1 cm from the bottom of the cork.
