Al naso si percepisce immediatamente un travolgente profumo di frutta stramatura quali amarene, more e prugne, per poi dar vita a sentori terziari di cioccolato, tabacco e spezie.
L’assaggio è caldo e corposo, morbido, dolce e suadente. Lunghissima la persistenza. Ottimo abbinamento a fine pasto con il dessert, con formaggi stagionati ma è perfetto anche come vino da meditazione. È un vino che conquista il palato di tutti.

Vino prodotto da vitigni condotti ad alberello che hanno un’età media di almeno 50 anni. Per ottenere questo vino necessita un appassimento sulla pianta delle uve che da origine ad una vendemmia tardiva rigorosamente fatta a mano.
La fermentazione rigorosamente a temperatura controllata, permette di ottenere il giusto equilibrio tra alcool e zucchero residuo. Si procede dunque con l’affinamento, in cui il vino rimane per 12 mesi in tini d’acciaio per poi dopo l’imbottigliamento maturare per ulteriori 6 mesi in vetro e intenso.
