The wines of Emilia-Romagna are renowned and appreciated for their strong ties to the most authentic rural traditions, as well as for a gastronomic vocation seemingly unmatched anywhere else in the world. Lambrusco, Sangiovese, Malvasia, and Albana are just a few of the many expressions of a genuine, vibrant, and generous land, which finds its best expression in the Apennine hillsides, from the Colli Piacentini to the Rimini hills.

The region boasts sparkling wines such as Gutturnio and Lambrusco, as well as Pignoletto and Malvasia di Candia Aromatica. In Romagna, the king of red wines is Sangiovese, alongside the white Albana, both in its passito and dry versions. These are just a few of the many protagonists of a sunny land with ancient winemaking traditions, dotted with elms, poplars, hawthorns, and, of course, grapevines.
