Lombardy is a very heterogeneous territory which, despite the great industrial development, still preserves the most ancient agricultural and peasant traditions today. Among the first Rhaetian reliefs up to the southern band of the Po Valley, passing through the precious moraine areas of the large lake, viticulture occupies a leading role.

In the far north among the mountains, red wines of great austerity are born, near Lake Garda white or rosé wines with a fresh and mineral profile are produced, the province of Brescia is the home of the famous Franciacorta sparkling wines and finally the lands of the Oltrepò, in deep south, are a production area rich in exposures and land that offers a varied quantity of sparkling wines, reds and whites characterized by a typical and recognizable rustic streak. In short, thanks to the notable regional extension and the wide territorial variety, Lombardy wines represent a flag and a precious treasure in the Italian wine world.
