The Gewürztraminer "Lafòa" is a deep, complex white wine, with aromas that gracefully and elegantly transport us to the vineyards cultivated by the Colterenzio winery, a cooperative whose philosophy always begins with obtaining healthy, high-quality grapes in the vineyard. Only in this way is it possible to create labels like the "Lafòa," a 100% Gewürztraminer that already excites, but which in the next four or five years will amaze even more with its personality and character. A bottle to be savored to the last drop.

This "Lafòa" Gewürztraminer is made from the eponymous single-varietal grapes, grown by the Colterenzio winery in vineyards with gravelly and sandy subsoil, with limestone deposits, located approximately 450–550 meters above sea level. Vineyard yields are kept very low, in keeping with Colterenzio's production philosophy, and do not exceed 45 hectoliters per hectare, yielding grapes that are full of their own unique character. Once harvested and brought to the winemaking facilities, the grapes undergo a brief cold maceration, before being softly pressed and fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. The wine then ages for 12 months in stainless steel on its own lees.

The "Lafòa" Gewürztraminer presents itself in the glass with a captivating color reminiscent of gold. On the nose, it offers ample and intense aromas of exotic fruit, enhanced by spicy and mineral notes. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and harmonious, with a subtle and satisfying finish, characterized by a lovely fresh finish. With this bottle, the Colterenzio winery achieves significant levels of quality, recognized by Italy's leading wine guides, establishing itself as one of the most interesting expressions of Gewürztraminer in the region.
